The Trustee’s Office provides fire protection and EMS services for the Township through a cooperative agreement with the City of Crown Point.  With this agreement and with equipment purchased by the Township, Center Township has been serviced by one of the most advanced Fire Rescue departments in the state.  This includes cooperative access to advanced technical rescue and dive teams, as well as advanced fire and ems apparatus.  Recently, this cooperative effort has helped the Township lower its ISO Fire protection rating from 9 to 5!  This improvement may save each resident in the Township hundreds on annual homeowners premiums.  To see if this ISO rating improvement helps you and your family, we recommend that you contact your insurance agent.If you should have any questions, please contact us at (219)663-0250.
